Yellow Cabin · Dunoon, NSW
Familiar pieces, a fresh perspective.
A gentle styling refresh built around the furniture the client already owned, with a few considered additions and subtle pops of colour.
The brief
Keep what feels like home
The client wanted to retain their existing furniture and the cabin’s relaxed character. The brief was a light touch: a few considered additions and gentle pops of colour, rather than a full redesign.
Warm timber and the garden outlook set the tone. Cushions, flowers and decorative accents introduce personality, while familiar pieces remain at the heart of the room.
The details
Small touches, real character
A playful owl jug and fresh flowers bring a little whimsy to the everyday space. The garden-framed reading corner offers a quiet counterpoint to the brighter details.
This is a quieter side of Eclectic Velvet: working with what is already there and adding personality without overwhelming it.
Before & After
